We are based in the Equestrian Sports Club La Albaida. The rider responsible for training your horse would be Gonzalo Gómez, a professional rider specialising in dressage.

We offer horse training and handling, with an individual approach tailored to each horse and its intended purpose, whether for leisure riding, sale or competition. Individual dressage lessons are also available. We also have extensive experience in international horse sales. We personally manage the entire sales process, including preparing photos and videos, advertising each horse on our website and promoting them to potential buyers worldwide.

Many owners have come to us after months or even years of trying to sell their horses through other yards. With our personalised approach and international reach, we have helped them find buyers within just a few months, and sometimes even weeks.

Prices

Box Livery + Training — €480/month

Includes:

  • Training 5 days a week.
  • Three daily feeds of high quality feed
  • Hay once a day
  • Straw bedding.
  • Daily mucking out and stable cleaning.
  • Box 3 x 3



Paddock Livery + Training — €580/month

Includes:

  • training 5 days a week.
  • Three daily feeds of high quality feed.
  • Daily mucking out and stable cleaning
  • Individual Paddock with shelter

 

Extra: hay +€30/month.

Note: The usual schedule would be 5 days of training per week, but this can be adapted to each horse’s individual needs. If a horse needs more days, it will be worked more days; if for any reason it needs fewer, the number of training days will be reduced.

Option to sell: This same service also includes the possibility for us to manage the sale of your horse. The price remains €480/month, including livery and training.We also take care of the whole sales process, ( taking photos and videos sales, advertising  on our website, helping the buyer with the vet check, transport, sales contract, etc...) If i sold the horse, a 10% sales commission will be added to the owner’s asking price.

Feeding: As every horse is different, we try to tailor their diet to each individual’s needs. We aim to provide hay ad lib whenever possible, and then adjust their diet depending on the horse, using good quality pellet or muesli feed, beet pulp,wheat bran and alfalfa cubes. 


Training sessions – €25 per ride

Trainning sessions for horses can also be booked individually, without the need to take out a monthly livery package.

Frequently Asked Questions About Sales Livery Your Horse at Our barn

How long does it take to sell a horse at your yard?

The time it takes can vary considerably depending on the individual horse, particularly its condition on arrival and its current level of training.

For us, it is essential not only to sell a healthy and sound horse, but also one that is well trained, safe and enjoyable to ride. We also take into account other factors such as stable vices, findings on X-rays, temperament and current market demand.

In general, from the moment a horse is put up for sale with us, we estimate an average selling time of between 2 weeks and 3 months.

Do I have to pay a commission when my horse is sold?

No. We work by adding our percentage on top of the price the owner wishes to receive. This means the owner does not have to pay us any additional commission

Do you accept unbroken horses or horses with behavioural issues or stable vices?

Yes. We have extensive experience in starting young horses and working with a wide range of behavioural issues,  vices under saddle and unwanted habits.

We have prepared many horses both for amateur riders and for their subsequent sale. However, these processes require time and patience. If the goal is to sell the horse, please keep in mind that a horse with behavioural issues, stable vices or potentially dangerous behaviour will not be put on the market immediately. We will first work on addressing these issues and ensuring the horse is safe and suitable to be marketed.

What do you recommend before bringing the horse?

Absolutely Having a clinical examination and a basic set of X-rays done beforehand can help speed up the sales process and avoid unnecessary delays or complications later on

What if I’m not in the same city or country, or I live far away?

No problem at all. We are professionals and always put the horse’s welfare first. We will send you photos, videos and regular updates so you can follow your horse’s progress and stay up to date with everything.

How much do you usually sell horses for at your barn?

The price varies considerably depending on each individual horse, including its level of training, experience, temperament, age, ability and other factors.

We have worked with horses across a wide range of budgets, from approximately €10,000 to €100,000 and above.

What is currently in demand in the market?

It depends quite a lot on each client’s profile, so we can’t give a fixed answer. However, we currently receive particularly high demand for horses and mares aged 4 to 12 years, already under saddle, and usually between 160 and 165 cm.

That said, the requirements can vary depending on the type of buyer. What we consider essential, and what is consistently in demand, is a good temperament, ease of handling, and good overall health. These are fundamental qualities for the majority of our clients.
