We are based at Club Deportivo Ecuestre La Albaida, in Córdoba, just 10 minutes from the city centre.

We have experienced  dressage riders and a professional team specialising in the training and management of horses. Each horse receives a personalised training programme depending on its intended purpose, whether for leisure, sale or competition. Individual dressage lessons are also available.

We have extensive experience in the international sale of horses. We personally manage the entire sales process and take care of everything needed to market each horse professionally, including photos, videos and advertising on our website and social media.

Many owners have trusted us after months or even years of trying to sell their horses through other yards. With us, they have achieved successful sales within just a few months, and in some cases even within weeks.

We also occasionally organise  schooling competitions at our own facilities, which is a great opportunity, especially for young horses, to get used to the competition environment without the stress of travelling. It also helps prepare horses for professional marketing and sale.

Frequently Asked Questions About Sales Livery Your Horse at Our barn

How long does it take to sell a horse at your yard?

The time it takes can vary considerably depending on the individual horse, particularly its condition on arrival and its current level of training.

For us, it is essential not only to sell a healthy and sound horse, but also one that is well trained, safe and enjoyable to ride. We also take into account other factors such as stable vices, findings on X-rays, temperament and current market demand.

In general, from the moment a horse is put up for sale with us, we estimate an average selling time of between 2 weeks and 3 months.

Do I have to pay a commission when my horse is sold?

No. We work by adding our percentage on top of the price the owner wishes to receive. This means the owner does not have to pay us any additional commission

Do you accept unbroken horses or horses with behavioural issues or stable vices?

Yes. We have extensive experience in starting young horses and working with a wide range of behavioural issues,  vices under saddle and unwanted habits.

We have prepared many horses both for amateur riders and for their subsequent sale. However, these processes require time and patience. If the goal is to sell the horse, please keep in mind that a horse with behavioural issues, stable vices or potentially dangerous behaviour will not be put on the market immediately. We will first work on addressing these issues and ensuring the horse is safe and suitable to be marketed.

What other options do you offer for training and selling your horse with you?

In addition to our standard option, where the owner pays a monthly fee for trainning and boarding and we add our sales percentage on top of the price the owner wishes to receive, we can also offer other arrangements depending on the horse.

For suitable horses, there is the option for the owner to cover the boarding costs only (without monthly training costs), while we take care of the horse’s training, preparation and finding a buyer.

Under this arrangement, we work with a higher percentage/commission, which is agreed upon before the horse is accepted for the programme and is paid when the horse is sold.

To work this way, it is important that the horse is already ridden, although it may still require a period of further training and preparation. The horse must also be sound and have a good pre-purchase veterinary examination.

Please note: If the horse is withdrawn before being sold, the training costs for all months completed up to that point must still be paid.

What if I’m not in the same city or country, or I live far away?

No problem at all. We are professionals and always put the horse’s welfare first. We will send you photos, videos and regular updates so you can follow your horse’s progress and stay up to date with everything.

What do you recommend before bringing the horse?

Absolutely Having a clinical examination and a basic set of X-rays done beforehand can help speed up the sales process and avoid unnecessary delays or complications later on

How much do you usually sell horses for at your barn?

The price varies considerably depending on each individual horse, including its level of training, experience, temperament, age, ability and other factors.

We have worked with horses across a wide range of budgets, from approximately €10,000 to €100,000 and above.
